Pictures?

So, the flu I had kept me home on Monday. I swear it was the WORST bug I EVER had. It lasted a whole week, and today is the first day that I ate something, and actually felt good afterwards. This year I am getting a flu shot.

Alexis also has a pathetic little cold--but I think she is teething which is making her cranky. Her long bangs that I have trying to grow out since she was born keep getting in her snot and drying up. She won't keep barrettes in her hair, so it looks like we are going to have to cut her bangs. I miss seeing her pretty little face anyway. We did put piggy-tails in her hair for the first time yesterday:

Work has been fine. I still have gone only a few days, but the attorney and paralegal aren't very picky, and are pretty laid back. Talking about marriage is kind of depressing with the attorney though. I don't think he doesn't like marriage, he just believes people should be careful. There is a lot of drama in the cases and people he deals with. I think it was good I didn't decide to try to become a lawyer. You read these interrogatories about neglectful parents and awful spouses. It makes my family seem SO normal, and makes you feel so sad for the world.

Jared is still doing the job search thing. He is working really hard on applications and getting his thesis done.

Nanna gave Lexi her first ice cream cone yesterday--and she thoroughly enjoyed that. She seemed confused as to why her cousin Morgan got more ice cream in hers though.

Here are some more pictures of my beautiful baby. We decided to work harder at teaching her words. She learned ball, book, and please this week (Please isn't used quite right though). When she wants to drink she sucks on her index finger, and Kathy and Jared saw her use a crayon "the right way" the other day--like a grown up. I wish you all could see her; she is so full of life. She has all the teeth in the front of her mouth now, so she looks so much more grown up. The close ups were taken about a month ago though.

I'm glad you are feeling better. Lexie is so beautiful, I wish we could watch her grow in real life. But for now, thank you Lord for blogs. How blessed are we to live in a time where we can see eachothers kids with a click of a button?

Glad you are feeling better. Lexis is adorable. I think she has EVERYONE in that house wrapped around her little finger.
