The stomach flu. The worst bug of all time, has hit the Smith home Thursday night. I, apparently, got the worst of it. Thankfully I have had family to help with my little one . . . who seems to only have a cold (which is still pathetic for someone so small). I have also--at the same time, had to deal with the same thing the Miwoks made their own special escape for (as Meri explained several posts ago). I also have a cold. Achiness, yuckiness, no funniness. I have slept a lot the past couple of days. Alexis sat in my lap for about an hour after she woke up from her nap this afternoon--which shows how much she missed me. I am feeling better--but still need a litte Miwok time. I wish I didn't have to go to work tommorrow--I have a legitimate excuse, but temp jobs don't offer paid sick days (of course). Anyway . . . that is where I have been this weekend.

You posted so that means you must be on the mend and for that I'm grateful. My heart goes out to you and the whole family. But, this too will pass. Spring will be here eventually. Thank goodness for family. Love to all. Mom
Maybe someday we will all live closer to one another and we can work together to build our own "Miwok House."
Laura, Do you have to go to work tomorrow? I thought that you worked on Tues. and Thursdays. I hope you have one more day to recover.
