Hair Cut

Well, not really a hair cut. After trying to grow out Lexi's bangs, she started taking out barrettes and putting them in her mouth. Then she got a cold and her bangs would get stuck in her snot--so Jared finally convinced me that it was time. I tried to take pictures of the actual cutting, but my camera died on me. Anyway, she looks a lot different with her bangs cut (her face looks rounder for one). I like that I can see her beautiful blue eyes, but I kind of miss all that extra hair. I think she likes it though. Jared and Kelly put tape on her bangs so they would know where to cut, and Kelly kept a tight grip on her while Jared did the trimming--and she did not like that. The bangs really weren't very even, so the next morning I evened them out while she was eating breakfast, and she barely even noticed. Anyway, here are some pictures of the new Lexi (I had to steal these pics from Kathy and Kelly's camera).


The one is with Lexi's favorite child in the whole world: Her cousin Morgan. Morgan is SO good with her--loves to make her laugh. As Uncle Matt taught Morgan to say: "Cousin-ship for life!"

Here is another pic that Jared caught while I was at work on Thursday. We have no idea how she did this.

Alexis LOVES pulling that stroller around. I don't know why. She is really into moving things around on the vinyl and the tile. She also pointed to parts of my face and actually SAID the words. She is trying to talk more now. Her FAVORITE word is STILL "up." She uses that one about 300 times a day.
