Hi.

I know I am a horrible blogger lately, but when it comes down to it I am really just too lazy to post anything.

Maybe part of it is that Jared has a job now (he is really liking it so far. He is a proposal writer for Absolute Staffers), so I have been busier. Also, it has been HOT (and even more HUMID) in PA lately, so Alexis and I are spending more time in the pool. Alexis LOVES the pool when it is hot, and begs for it every time we go outside.

You can imagine her anger when she FINALLY convinced me to go in one day, at about 4PM, and I got in my bathing suit, went up the ladder with her, and then found a dead bird by the filter. I screamed (Alexis did too because she thought I was being funny) and then immediately went out. To top it off, Alexis would not let me get her out of her bathing suit or mine, so we were wet in the house for a long time. I couldn't let her outside because then she would want in the pool again.

The other day when I got her out of the bathtub, she asked to wear pants, so I went to get her some, and she grabbed out the pink shorts she wore LAST summer, handed them to me, and said, "Pink!" She wanted the pink shorts. What a SHOCK that pink is her favorite color! You know the bathing suit she insisted on still wearing, even wet in the air conditioned house, is pink too.

We are kind of in transition mode now, looking for places to live and trying to save a little money before we move out of Kathy and Kelly's. Right now Jared is commuting almost two hours one way to work, so we are looking forward to having a place that is about an hour closer.

Jordan, Jared's brother, reports to the MTC for his mission on September 15th; he will be serving in Colorado Springs, Colorado! He is excited, and can't believe it is happening so quickly.

That is our lives lately. I KNOW you all want pictures--you always whine when there are no pictures. I have been lazy about taking those too.

Also, as a side note, Jared met his new IDOL, Dan Henderson. If any of you follow MMA fighting, he is kind of a big deal right now. Jared went to some thing with his brothers for him, and called me stating, "Dan Henderson! Let me tell you! What a WONDERFUL guy!"

Anyway, we love you all and think about you all a lot. There should be a post worthy event coming soon--lets see if Kathy allows her sons to follow through!
