Why I don't blog THAT much.

My husband is doing hours of research a day on the computer, so I do not have constant access. I know I need to post some updated pictures . . . but those things can take time.

I will tell you that Alexis likes to copy us when we say "hi" and when we scream. She is getting into crawling position, but still doesn't get that she can crawl. She can also drink out of a sippy cup by herself, and can sit up from her back (she can from her tummy too, but the back is impressive!) She loves yogurt, mirrors, and daddy.

Yesterday morning I carried her into Jared's office and she said, as soon as we walked in, "Hi Dad!" I know she didn't know what she said, but the timing was so perfect! I wonder if she knows what "dada" and "mama" mean, because she says "dada" when she plays, and "mama" when she is distressed. She loves to sing in church too.

She also had her first date last night :) One of the young single adults went to trivia with us, and he and Alexis were the only two out of a party of eight that were not married or engaged. He sat in the back of the car with Alexis (there was some serious giggling going on in the back); I think there was even some finger holding later that night--but I don't even want to think about that! Anyway, our team got second at trivia! We could not have done it without Alexis cheering on her daddy the whole time with her "DADADADADADADADADAAA!"

I know with a growing baby there needs to be lots of pictures, but like I said, I do not have access to the computer 24/7. Maybe when the school year starts up again I will have more opportunities to post.
