Happy Birthday!

On Friday, Jared turned the big 3-0! Hard to believe. He was just a young twenty-five year old when I met him! For his birthday we had a dinner party with some friends. Jared made a ham, since I don't like ham, and he hardly ever gets to eat it! On Saturday afternoon we had a barbecue with some of the people he plays ultimate frisbee with--also to honor his birthday. On Sunday we went to another barbecue with some of Jared's colleagues--this one had nothing to do with Jared's birthday. Anyway, let us all wish Jared a happy birthday!

In addition to Jared turning 30, Alexis also turned the big "point five"! Yes, she is six months old now! At her check-up she weighed 15 pounds and was 25 inches long! We offered her rice cereal for the first time . . .we will be posting that video later. She wasn't a fan, but she is starting to like it more. Anyway, my camera is out of batteries so I will share more pictures and videos in the near future. See ya'!
